For fast-track student (degree to PhD), student is not allowed to postpone their presentation, compulsory to present proposal in 2nd semester.

Workflow of Proposal presentation for Master By Research and PhD
Week 1: Application for proposal presentation (student) download form here.
Week 2: Nomination of panels for proposal presentation (main supervisor) download form here.
Week 7: Submission of proposal report [student to secretariat]. 3 copies of report that certified by supervisor. Download front page here
Week 8: Setting date, time and venue for presentation (committee). Secretariat will inform to examiners, supervisor and student by official letter and email.
Week 12-15: Proposal presentation will be conducted
Week 16: Meeting on proposal presentation result (committee)
Week 17: Result notification. Secretariat will inform to supervisor and student by official letter and email.

Workflow of Progress presentation for Master By Research and PhD
Week 2: Notification of progress presentation to supervisor and student through email and website (committee)
Week 3: Application for deferment presentation if student can’t present progress (student) download form here
Week 4: Submission of progress report [student to secretariat]. 3 copies of report that certified by supervisor. Download front page here
Week 5: Preparation of Schedule
Week 6: Progress presentation will be conducted
Week 11: Meeting on progress presentation result (committee)
Week 12: Result notification. Secretariat will inform to supervisor and student by official letter and email.
*PhD and Master (Research) students that required to present progress in current semester (name that include in list), can't present, must submit a deferment form with the justification for the deferment. The form must be supported by supervisor and approve by deputy dean (research, development and publication). If the committee does not receive any notification, students will be given a grade 'KS'.

If student obtain mark below 65%, student is required to submit corrected report and / or representation. Please submit report together with assessment form. Panel will submit new mark to committee.

Workflow of Pre-viva for Master By Research and PhD
1. Student submits Thesis to Faculty. Form to apply Pre-viva, please click here
2. Pre-viva assessment is made by the Panel of Assessors. (Sections 2-4)
3. The form is to be returned to the student for discourse with the Supervisor.
4. The necessary amendments / corrections are to be performed on the Thesis.
5. The Supervisor approves of the final Thesis draft. (Section 5)
6. Student returns the final Thesis draft to the Faculty for JKPSF’s endorsement. (Section 6)
7. Faculty submits the Thesis with this form to the Centre for Graduate Studies. (Section 7)
